This is the final report of the Governor’s Task Force on the Future of the Brandywine and Christina Rivers. These rivers constitute one of Delaware’s most important assets. Over a two-year period the Task Force members have defined the means of improving water quality, protecting and enhancing stream banks, providing public access to the streams, dedicating greenways, acquiring critical land areas, cleaning up the watershed, establishing Delaware’s first urban wildlife refuge, and rejuvenating the Wilmington waterfront.
